Hello 4th graders!

I am on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is a beautiful place with very white sand and turquoise blue water. One of the favorite foods to eat here is conch and this is the only place in the world that has a conch "farm." It is in the ocean.

Study hard!

Today we watched an eagle land in the nest. We are waiting to see if any eggs will appear. We are learning our Northeast states and capitals. We are learning about New York City and the Statue of Liberty. Cricket in Times Square is our new book and it's fun to read! The characters really come alive for us! We are learning a lot of new concepts in Math, like long division, fractions, and exponents. We are doing a photosynthesis poster in Science. We painted polar bears under the Northern Lights in Art. It was too cold to go outside today.
